Program Manager, Platform Yammer

Job ID: 819507-99128
Division: Microsoft Office Division
Yammer is bringing the social networking revolution to the enterprise, including changing how enterprise software is discovered and chosen. Enterprise software companies traditionally subscribe to 'buy before you try,' methodology, where enterprises purchase, install, train and roll-out software after only seeing a 'demo.' Yammer distributes like consumer applications, with users discovering and trying Yammer before their employer has to commit a dime. We believe most if not all enterprise software will be distributed this way in the future as well.
This viral distribution model is a reason why Yammer leads the space, but only part of what makes it compelling for partners. The Yammer platform is a system of engagement, extending users? conversation across all business applications and driving usage and adoption of partners? applications. We have insanely ambitious goals and we need talented Product Managers to help us drive and execute on our vision: to create the first enterprise platform that is both user chosen and valuable to partners and developers.
