Kiva is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to contribute to its Professional Services Team as a Program Manager. The Program Manager is a key member of the Kiva Team, responsible for driving a broad cross-functional team to deliver flawlessly for our customers. A successful Program Manager will complete profitable, high-quality programs on time for our customers while motivating team members and sustaining our driven startup culture.
The Program Manager will be responsible for:
Running 4-7 simultaneous complex programs, generating $25-50M in revenue
Leading and developing a highly-competent, highly-technical team of 3-4 implementation engineers
Interfacing with C-level customer executives, fostering a strong relationship, responding to customer needs
Developing and maintaining a detailed program plan, Gantt chart, resource requirements, and other program-specific documentation for each active program
Working closely with the sales and solutions team to fully define and communicate customer requirements
Communicating with customers to plan (and sometimes re-plan) program execution, software integration, physical installation, customer go-live events, post-execution training, and acceptance
Coordinating the procurement, assembly, and shipment of material to the customer site
Leading a program team, third-party entities, and associated contractors to fully install the system
Reporting program status, potential risk, and profitability to internal ops and management teams
The ideal candidate will have:
An undergraduate degree in a technically- or business-related field
5-8 years experience leading multiple projects simultaneously in an engineer environment
Prior success in a similarly fast-paced environment
Ability to develop project milestone plans and detailed project schedules
Strong meeting management skills and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage distributed teams of people who are not direct reports as well as teams who are
High attention to detail and accuracy along with ability to multitask and prioritize
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to succinctly summarize key findings
Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to large, executive-level audiences
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as prior success working with engineers
Ability to balance and prioritize conflicting requirements
Project Management Certification and/or an MBA desired
Willingness to travel to customer sites
