JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our rapid growth and continued success has created a need for another Project Manager with leadership qualities to join our Implementation Service team. You will own project planning and implementation, work with cross functional teams, as well as client subject matter experts, throughout the delivery process. This includes all aspects of the development life cycle from requirements gathering, analysis and design, configuration and test, through deployment of our enterprise Care Management software solution.
Establish project roles and responsibilities
Create, maintain and drive project plan and schedule
Monitor and report project status and workload
Identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
Generate and maintain project artifacts including client sign-offs
Assist senior management with work scope definition and project estimation
Ensure timely deliverables of high quality
Support management of client expectations
Interact effectively with development teams and clients
Work with members of management on project resource allocation
Act as point of contact for inquiries regarding client implementation
Lead negotiation of priorities and schedules
Work with resources assigned to project to ensure requirements and timelines/milestones are met
Handle rapidly evolving projects and system requirements
Manage time tracking of project personnel
Work with management on project invoicing related to timeframes and milestones
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years experience managing software implementation projects for external customers required
Strong experience with project management tools and methodologies supporting iterative software development
Proficiency creating, maintaining, and managing project plans using MS Project
Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Experience with Visio or other workflow documentation tool
Demonstration of risk awareness and takes action to reduce unforeseen situations
Experience effectively managing project scope and priorities
Ability to communicate and understand technical information
Strong client focus and collaborative work style
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead and facilitate meetings
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Healthcare or insurance industry experience preferred
Project management certification preferred
Travel required, variable up to 30.
