Job Description
Position: Program Manager
Reports to: COO
Description: The Program Manager is responsible for managing internal programs, prior to product launch as established by the management team. Over time, site specific project management responsibilities may be introduced. Emphasis is placed on the following specific responsibilities:
1. Operations and Program Management ? 100%
Working closely with the management team to define projects that will achieve the short and long term goals of the company and the development of project charters to guide execution of those projects;
Development of comprehension project management plans that include all foundational documents such as project schedules, budgets, quality plans, communications plans, resource plans and other key documents;
Project accounting duties, including, tracking and reporting team hours and expenses on a weekly basis; managing project budgets; analyzing project profitability, revenue margins, bill rates and utilizations; and providing project costing reports to management;
Oversee the creation and submittal of O&M Manuals; Bill of Material (BOM);
Supporting quotation activity for proposals and applications engineers;
Managing a multi-disciplined team to deliver a project within the project charter and project management plans, including;
- Working closely with the procurement function to qualify and select all outside vendors; and ensure the timely delivery of all necessary project hardware;
- Working closely with project engineering team to coordinate all technical work;
- Working closely with application engineering to place the product into service; and;
- Communicating with management concerning project status and variances;
Implementing and leading continuous quality improvement processes, focusing on systems/process improvement;
Transitioning products from initial product development projects to full commercial launch; and
Work closely with Engineering to develop product improvement plans and technology road maps.

What we view as important in your background that would prepare you for this position:
5+ years of experience working in a similar or comparable role;
10+ years of relevant experience with the production of one or more of the following areas:
- Gas turbine or other power generation systems
- Heat recovery steam generator or other heat recovery technologies
- High pressure fluid systems
- Industrial refrigeration systems
- Other complex engineered products that produce power or work
Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline;
Demonstrable presentation skills;
Experience with government contracts and programming is preferred.
