Programmatic Solutions Manager Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Programmatic Solutions Manager will drive the growth and optimization of Yelp?s growing global programmatic business. This is a highly cross-functional role where you will be involved with every aspect of maximizing revenue for our programmatic business. You will be managing and building our programmatic strategy, creating the necessary supporting operations to drive revenue through pricing policy and optimization of ad delivery. This position requires a self-starter who is a highly experienced, energetic individual comfortable managing multiple tasks at one time. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of business analysis, operations and technical expertise with specific experience with DMPs, SSPs and private marketplaces for web and mobile app advertising. The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to explain complex technical elements of today?s rapidly evolving programmatic landscape.
Build, maintain and manage relationships with Trading Desks, DSPs, networks and all demand sources
Manage, monitor and scale programmatic campaigns to drive revenue by onboarding, optimizing and serving new and existing demand partners
Provide ongoing solutions and daily management of Yelp?s programmatic business to increase monetization across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Set up scalable, efficient processes and information systems necessary for global programmatic operations performance, monitoring, optimization and final billing reports to finance.
Closely monitor daily platform performance and be proactive in addressing discrepancies and making price recommendations
Provide guidance on pricing policy and inventory forecasts
Serve as an expert on key business trends and best practices, and proactively communicate them with business, engineering and executive teams
Help create and maintain reporting, forecasting models, dashboards and other analysis tools
Help track revenues coming in and going out of the company working closely with the Finance department
BS in Business or equivalent preferred; MBA a plus
Previous programmatic hands-on experience
Experience working with SSPs, DSPs and private exchanges
5+ years of experience in digital media advertising operations; firm understanding of campaign set-up, trafficking and campaign optimization levers.
Must have strong analytical background supported by firm Excel skills.
Passion for setting up efficient processes for optimization
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate the big picture and also drill down to supporting details.
Excellent at multi-tasking with close attention to detail and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
Comfortable working cross functionally while balancing competing priorities
Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup-like working environment
