As a Programmer/Analyst, you will be utilizing your technical and programming skills for the development
and utilization of the Co-op and other marketing databases. You will be involved in the entire life cycle of
database development for various marketing programs, including tactical level programming, data extract
and process, and extensive quality assurance procedures.
Position
Specifically, your primary role will be to:
? Develop and execute data conversion programs, using regular expressions and programs for flat file
transformation, development and maintenance, ad hoc data extract, variable edit, and report
generation, in a PC/Server environment.
? Take responsibility for data integrity; deliver on programming requirements and meet required
deadlines.
? Adhere to standards for program and process documentation.
? Continuously enhance program efficiency, reducing production time and resource requirements.
? Execute extensive quality assurance procedures.
? Develop an understanding of data processing issues related to I-Behavior's evolving business
strategy, and provide possible solutions.
? Previous SQL experience
Qualifications
? Linux or Unix operating system experience
? Previous shell scripting experience
? Perl experience preferred
? Experience writing regular expressions
? Experience and proven performance in direct marketing and support of direct channel sales,
along with use of targeting tools in implementation.
? A hands-on, self-directed individual with strong interpersonal skills that thrives in an
entrepreneurial environment.
? Ability to multitask.
? Strong general technical skills.
