Programmer Analyst Advanced ICU Care

The Programmer Analyst will primarily focus on design, development and support of Microsoft Technology-based custom in-house applications to support clinical workflows. Additionally Programmer Analyst may be assisting other stakeholders with the management of Advanced ICU Care (AICU) data including its collection, integrity and reporting for the clinical performance of the virtual ICU as well as data for other department specific needs.

Required Technical Duties
Write new, modify and support existing applications to support clinical initiatives and workflows
Work with end-users to gather requirements to analyze business needs
Develop and optimize SQL Server tables, queries, view, triggers and stored procedures using T-SQL is required. Develop DTS/SSIS packages if necessary.
Develop and fine-tune reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Design and maintain in-house Business Intelligence solution to analyze clinical data across clients
Develop and maintain ASP.Net web pages and applications
Possess Web Administrator Skills to administer Microsoft IIS, Source Code development and collaboration tools
Additional Technical Duties
Troubleshoot data and application integration issues and messaging software components.
Production and Staging Interface Systems support
Support overall stability of Windows 2003/2008 Interface Engine Server?s functionality
Resolve common problems independently, or when needed, follow escalation procedures to seek complex problem resolution in a timely manner.
Document configuring decisions, technical modifications, operational and user procedures.
Coordinate testing of software changes prior to production installation, including integration and interface testing. Maintain written documentation of test plan and results.
Coordinate with customers to ensure timely and error free application upgrades.
Tele-ICU Program Implementation
Support and coordinate the hospital technical implementation process related to custom development, pre-implementation preparedness, testing and training.
Track technical implementation progress, issues, and project time lines, and provide regular status reports to the AICU Care Technical Project Lead.
Work as a team player, supporting and assisting team members.
Enhance team effectiveness through team spirit and dependability.
Four years applications development experience with two plus years in web applications development and a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline; or eight years applications development experience with four plus years in web applications development and an Associates degree in a technical discipline.
Exceptional skills developing applications using ASP .NET, SQL server 2008, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), C# and Visual Studio
Evidence of effective communication and organization skills.
Availability for after hours remote, and occasionally on-site, support.
Experience with Data warehouse design and maintenance
Knowledge of Health Information Systems and Healthcare Industry general guidelines and regulations
