This paid internship requires an average availability of 10-20 hours per week in our main office located in Broomfield, CO.
The Project Accountant Intern will be responsible for preparing and updating projects? cost and associated cost analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Track project-related cost records, including purchase orders and invoices.
Enter and maintain project budgets/actuals/forecasts in MS Excel file.
Consolidate data in the project cost reports for project manager?s review and approval.
Prepare and update, on a regular basis, project cash flow forecasts.
Review account totals related to project assets and expenses.
Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management.
Qualifications
Student in a graduate or undergraduate program working towards either an Engineering, Business or Accounting degree.
Skills Required
Intermediate to expert skills with MS excel and MS office Suite.
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Efficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well as an integral part of a Project Team.
