Position overview:
The project analyst works directly with the National Accounts Project Manager on qualifying sales leads and providing operational support for increasing business growth. This person should be proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to build new data measuring metrics from scratch. This person should have customer service experience and be comfortable with telephonic outreach to qualify leads. This role also includes aiding in proposals to new business opportunities, market research for new product offerings, managing data analytics for large strategic partners, and providing internal operational support to the field sales team and the national accounts sales team.
JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (Listed in order of importance)
Work with National Sales Director and National Accounts PM to establish database of qualified sales leads across high potential growth areas
Create and execute operations metrics for senior management
Manage data requests from vendor partners, including senior staff at large health plans
Assist NAPM with implementation of strategic programs
Provide new data analytics for field team to assist in marketing efforts
Perform market analysis for new product offerings and geographic expansion
Provide support for internal operations efficiency data analysis
Providing operational support for the field and national account sales teams
Create proposals and presentations for business growth
Work with senior management on ad hoc projects as necessary
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
Knowledge / Education/Experience
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum of 2 years business experience preferably in an analytical role
Experience within a healthcare environment preferred.
Skills / Competencies
Mastery of Microsoft Office: Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Publisher
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
Smart and able to think outside the box
Able to interact confidentially with cross functional teams and senior team members
Physical Requirements
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard.
Lightweight lifting may be required
