Summary of Responsibilities:
The Project Analyst will assist with implementation and deployment of strategic web-based/e-commerce integration projects. The Analyst will work with third party partner project teams to develop and facilitate integration requirements. You will provide support to the Integrations Project Manager and work with the internal Product Management and Development teams to create technical specifications and overall integration requirements.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives:
Assist Integrations Project Manager with integrations implementation(s) process from concept through post implementation & release.
Define and document integration specifications, including communication methods and data formats, from 3rd party integration guides and technical documentation.
Gather and interpret project specifications based on business and compliance needs in order to write clear and concise business/technical requirements.
Work with the development team to define technical deliverables.
Work closely with the Product Management team to gather requirements to support the integration and implementation of new product initiatives.
Work with Ellie Mae Network partners to achieve goals.
Manage projects and support cases as assigned.
Work with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues.
Provide 3rd level support for all partner implementation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
3+ years in technical Business Analyst or e-Commerce implementations role.
Previous experience as Project Manager, Project Analyst or Project Coordinator highly desirable.
Understanding of project lifecycles and software development process.
Experience in reviewing/assisting in creating requirements documents, functional requirements, UI specifications, test plans and technical architecture diagrams needed.
Proficient with Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of XML, MISMO, ULDD highly desirable.
Understanding or exposure to Internet technologies, client-server applications, networking and network system architectures.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Experience and deep understanding of three or more of the following is preferred: 1) Business and marketing strategy and operational management 2) Mortgage software products industry 3) Internet and/or e-commerce transaction business 4) Mortgage and/or lending industry 5) Product engineering.
