This position will begin as a temporary position and convert to full time within 90 days for the right qualified candidate.
The Project Analyst at Fios,Inc. is a key client service position and focuses on building the bridge between the business need and the technology. This is done in close collaboration with the project manager and technical resources. The Project Analyst assists in the capturing of project requirements and ensures they are fully understood by the technical team/vendors; works with internal applications and resources to document, manage, and execute client projects; and is also required to create, maintain and analyze reports including providing administrative support to the project teams. The Project Analysts will assist the project manager with communication, both internal and external as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, maintain, and validate requirements specifications following standard processes and procedures;
- Accurately gather, analyze, interpret and communicate client business objectives and requirements in order to make recommendations for resolution;
- Facilitate the process of gathering, documenting, and maintaining business/process workflows following standard processes and procedures;
- Fully communicate requirements to the technical team and with clients before solutions are designed and implemented;
- Assist the Project Managers in planning, tracking, and implementing client projects including documenting change requests and completing impact assessments;
- Complete system and user setup for internal applications, web-based review tools, and internal tracking systems and assist in the training of users;
- Disclose appropriate, known risks and limitations to the client and other team members;
- Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams;
- Provide support for time tracking, reporting, and issue resolution on projects;
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted during the course of work;
- Assist with client training plan development;
- Participate in business process reviews;
- Serve as backup to the Project Manager including project management and client communications;
- Assist with client requests for ad hoc SQL reporting;
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required;
- Ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of competing demands;
- Ability to utilize different technical methods for tracking and reporting on customer matter status and providing processing statistics;
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills;
- Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills;
- Administrative, analytical and reporting skills;
- Experience with SQL, enterprise data structures, and system integration techniques
- Time management and personal organization skills;
- Proven ability to multi-task over multiple projects and deliver in a fast-paced environment;
- Software application proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio, MS Project, common email systems, and basic networking and database concepts;
- Willingness and ability to work on a flexible and varied work schedule to support customers in different time zones in the US as well as rotating weekend day coverage;
- A positive attitude;
- Experience with electronic discovery firms or litigation support groups is a strong plus;
- Knowledge of one or more software packages such as Summation, Concordance, Ringtail or other web-based document review tool is a strong plus;
- Experience with different search term technology (DTSearch, Westlaw, Lexis Nexis) is a plus
- Experience and certification in project management such as PMP is a plus
