We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator that will be a team member of the Project Management group of Yorktel. The Project Coordinator will apply his or her office knowledge, past experience, interpersonal skills and administrative techniques to support the project management team. Support to be provided includes customer follow-up, information collection, opening room profiles, opening and updating service orders, data entry, order processing and tracking, status reports, scheduling resources and attendance in meetings with or in lieu of a Project Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting project managers on all internal and external tasks to coordinate customer system installations and room relocations
Provide support for Operations Leadership activities including taking and distributing meeting notes and follow-up activities as requested
Support Project Managers on all assigned open projects to include ordering and tracking equipment, managing due dates of project team deliverables, scheduling resources, setting and up and processing invoicing, retrieving acceptance and all other duties as assigned.
Work effectively with other departments including, Purchasing, Accounting, Engineering, Production and Logistics to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks
Knowledge of and adherence to Yorktel policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications
1-2 years experience in project coordination or related field
Associates degree or equivalent industry working experience
MS Office proficiency ? MS Word, Outlook and Excel is required, MS Project Desirable
YorkTel BIS knowledge is desired.
Familiarity with the functionality of the internet
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs
Frequent sitting, standing and walking
Limited weekend and/or night work or on-call may be required
Limited domestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area
Valid U.S. driver?s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver?s abstract
Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts
