Project Coordinator ? Information Technology
The Project Coordinator is responsible for creating and tracking IT-related documents, tasks, metrics, projects, tasks. This role will also be responsible for special projects supporting contracts, audits, executive presentations, metric-based departmental goals and objectives. The Project Coordinator will create presentations summarizing metrics, project statuses and will work across all areas of company. This individual will report directly to the Chief Information Officer.
Track accomplishments and projects across all IT departments
Track contracts and metrics and documents related to external vendors
Creates the documentation around statements of work supporting new business requirements, at the direction of service executives
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives
Identifies and tracks success metrics
Monitors workflow and deadlines
Analyzes data to identify issues, root cause and resolves independently or through collaborating with other team members
Relies on organizational skills, communication skills and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, linking, etc.) and Access skills
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills required
Possess strong time management skills
Possess analytical and technical skills
Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Position Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college/university
2 years experience within a coordinator/administrative role with schedule management and analytical duties
1 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite including advance Excel (macros, pivot tables, linking, etc.)
Position Qualifications (Preferred)
Experience within an IT department/function
Experience within the healthcare industry
