The Senior Project Coordinator position will primarily be responsible for coordinating engineering resources for client projects, and is integral to the monitoring of projects from initiation through delivery. The Project Coordinator ensures internal, and external, customer satisfaction by managing the details of overall project schedules and deliverables, and ensures completion of project(s) on schedule and within budget constraints.
? Work closely with the Principal Systems Engineer and other Practice Managers to develop proposals and coordinate engineering projects.
? Manage customer relationship during engagements in order to assess and assure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
? Schedule, track and coordinate all the activities (meetings, con-calls and tasks) involved in the delivery of engineering engagements, such as Customers; Network, Engineers from other FusionStorm Business Units; FusionStorm Account Mangers and Inside Sales Reps; FusionStorm Service Managers; Vendors or their agents; Third-party contractors; and Distributors (for delivery of equipment, as needed).
? Maintain and revise a database of SOW templates. Produce an accurate billing summary for all Networking engagements and deliver to the Finance department on a weekly basis.
? Communicate in a timely and accurate manner with all parties as to the progress and completion of each engagement.
? Cross-train for other Project Management roles as a back-up for vacations, sick leave, etc.
? Conduct kick-off meetings, weekly meetings and project closure meetings.
? Resolve project conflict, and create and manage project plans.
? 2-5 years experience coordinating the delivery of customer services within IT, or related industry.
? A technical background and PMP Certification is highly desirable, but not required.
? Excellent organizational, customer service, verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to collaborate with technical engineers and others).
? Ability to assemble and edit written documents for a technical audience, and to team with others to create and document processes and procedures.
? Familiarity with the technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of IT Infrastructure and services.
? Familiarity with Microsoft Project and other Project Management tools and methodologies.
