About the Job
Nexant is seeking a Project Engineer position for our Elk Grove, CA office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical services for an energy efficiency utility program.
Provide technical advice to the program management team, energy analysts, building owners, facility managers, contractors and vendors on the energy efficiency of commercial building designs, construction, and modifications as they relate to mechanical, electrical, lighting, building envelope and control systems.
Perform reviews of energy models, ensuring program technical compliance, and provide advice and guidance to the program on forms, manuals, and administrative policies that relate to the technical review process.
Work on an industrial efficiency program.
Provide technical expertise to investigate energy efficiency opportunities, perform technical analyses to quantify and confirm energy savings, and assist program participants through the efficiency program?s process.
Qualifications
Requires a Master?s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Must also possess coursework or experience background with thermodynamics, energy audits, heat and power system analyses, EnergyPro, eQUEST, air handling systems, and lighting systems.
