Project Engineer, Mechanical SustainX
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Position Summary:
This position will report to and working closely with the Director of Field Operations in leading mechanical assembly and installation efforts in support of a new ICAES technology product launch. Will apply experience and engineering principles to design, fabrication, installation and or repair of all associated mechanical systems, subsystems and assemblies. Successful system integration, commissioning and ultimately acceptance testing will be expected on deliverables for project completion. Leads and directs the work of others in an effort to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Interfaces with Product Management &Design Engineering for continuous product improvement. Candidate must be ambitious, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of mechanical assembly and installation efforts, demonstration unit thru commercialization;
Work closely with engineering team memberson laboratory and product development test apparatus;
Develop written procedures for ensuring proper mechanical assembly and system operation;
Direct and coordinate mechanical field installation, start-up and commissioning efforts in concert with the electrical field operations leader;
Multi-tasking and flexible with hands-on work as necessary;
Other duties as needed or assigned.
A Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering
10+years? experience in relevant roles
Excellent problem solving skills, and ability to resolve problems in a timely manner
Excellent communication and presentation skills, to properly communicate relevant information to team members and management
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
General office and industrial equipment assembly and operation environment. Travel requirements will align with product deployment.
