eMeter A Siemens Business, is searching for a Project Manager ?It's a key role within eMeter?s Global Professional Services organization. In the role of Project Manager, you will be managing customer implementation projects for our EnergyIP product. As an eMeter project manager, you will be responsible for efficiently supervising a team of consultants, managing project timelines and deliverables, and adhering to high communications.
Lead software implementation projects from start to finish, including:
? Efficiently managing a project team and tasks
? Developing and tracking to a project budget and target dates
? Interfacing with customer leadership and account management
? Effectively managing all project communications
? Identifying and managing both risks and issues in a timely manner
? Adhering to and enforcing eMeter project processes and methodologies
Provide leadership to consultants, including career guidance and mentoring.
Participate in various organization initiatives including:
? Self training on eMeter solutions
? Process and methodology development and improvement
? Team building exercise creation and participation
? Internal projects that may relate to sales, training, support or engineering
Experience and Skills
? 5+ years experience managing software implementation projects
? 8+ years in a professional services/consulting role
? Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
? Experience in managing project team consultants and providing leadership and individual guidance to staff
? Skilled in project planning and project management
? Experience with SOW contract writing, negotiations and scope control
? Strong knowledge of MS Project or equivalent
? Functional analysis and detail design experience
? Experience in the Utility industry highly desired
? Must be willing to travel up to 50%
? 4 year degree from an accredited college or university
? MBA a plus
? PMI certification a plus
