POSITION: Methodology Director

LOCATION: Open Americas, or Europe or Asia - 1 position

SUMMARY: Methodology Director

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Methodology Director is the leader of a small team accountable to drive results of developing and implementing a scalable, comprehensive engagement methodology in the areas of implementation, project and program management, sponsorship, bid management, change management. This role works with all teams within Global Enterprise PMO, project/program managers and practice directors/managers and product experts to increase the proficiency of the workforce and to assure that engagements are successfully completed. Responsibility includes leading the team and individual contributor for the following; developing strategy, technology platform, developing material, developing and leading training sessions, implementation and maintenance of the methodology, progress reports and planning and scheduling. Periodically, the Methodology Director will be expected to manage a project or program for a strategic or large complex project.

Leadership â€" Demonstrate ability to provide direction to and motivate resources to achieve desired results. Mentor and develop teams and promote teamwork amongst peers and client personnel. Lead by example and demonstrate a positive mental attitude. Demonstrate standard leadership traits: strategic, forward thinking, problem solving, and implementation thought leadership.

Execution â€" Results oriented. Identifies problems proactively and leverages the organization in an efficient manner to resolve them.

Project Excellence - in areas of financial (Ability to estimate projects accurately), resources, anticipate client needs. This position is expected to be fully engaged with the field, however, there are times during the first 6 â€" 12 months of the role and when preparing major releases that the focus will be mainly on methodology developments which will appear to be more of a back office role.

Sales â€" work with the bid/sales team to develop materials that will promote, educate clients in the use of our methodology. Periodically participate in deals to present to or clients the advantages of using Infor with our rich methodology to reduce risk during the project implementation.

Communication & Documentation â€" Efficiently, effectively and appropriately establish and manage expectations through verbal and written communication. Demonstrate the ability to effectively listen and comprehend.

Personal Development â€" Subject matter expert and thought leader in methodology. Keep up to date with new developments, best practices, industry trends and new innovations for all related methodology knowledge areas.

Client Satisfaction â€" Work with project team to achieve high levels of client satisfaction pertaining to methodology. Be able to measure the effectiveness of Infor methodology on client engagements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• College Graduate w/ 4 yr degree - Business, project management, process engineering, MBA preferred
• PMP certification

Required Skills:

• Successful project management track record for full life cycle software implementation projects with 3M â€" 5M USD of annual consulting services revenue
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience in large scale implementations in software consulting services using a structured methodology
• Experience developing methodology
• Experience developing methodology training
• Experience implementing methodology and achieving a high level of adoption
• Experience with bid preparation and project management tools and processes
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and client personnel
• Proven record of execution to time and budget
• Strategic and tactical thinking

preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:

• ERP and cross product large, complex global project implementations
• Experience with different types of methodology such as waterfall, agile and extreme
