BigMachines is seeking experienced Project Managers to oversee the quality implementation of client solutions for some of the country?s leading technology, industrial, and manufacturing companies. This includes the delivery of implementations including solution design, managing key customer relationships, customer readiness, driving project schedules, managing project resources, and budgets. We are seeking highly motivated and hands-on project managers who can learn quickly, grow with the company, and who look forward to the challenge of delighting our customers and building our business.
The Project Manager positions will report directly to the Regional Professional Services Director and will be the face of BigMachines to our clients. For this specific location, you would work remotely from Atlanta, GA. Travel would be approximately 40-50%.
Please Note: Aptitude testing is required for all positions
Being the single Point of Contact for all assigned projects with responsibility for project deliverables and quality
Managing the statement of work as well as other project issues, risks, and changes
Managing key customer relationships at all levels, including executive and senior management
Managing project schedule, resources, communication, and margins
Facilitating the progress of the implementation to make sure that timelines and customer goals are achieved
Working with customers to prepare them for the operational ownership of their new solution
Adhering to all BigMachines security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job duties
Participating in security training provided by BigMachines
Reporting any potential security weakness, exposure or suspicious indications to manager
At least 3 years' experience managing successful project implementations preferred
At least 2 years of experience in the software development industry preferred
Experience communicating with customers/managing customer relationships
Experience with eBusiness applications and web based programming languages/technologies
Understanding of efficient business processes
Excellent analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer and our company succeed
BS/MS in engineering or computer science preferred
PMP or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory
