Project Manager Exari Group
Position Overview
Starting with a proposal or statement of work to an Exari client, the Project Manager (PM) has ?buck-stops-here? responsibility for:
Scoping the project to be done, including responsibilites and assumptions
Working with the external customer facilitating meetings to capture and guide the vision, strategy and business process of the Client
Lead the gathering of the business requirements (in the areas of contract document storage, workflow, and document automation), in conjunction with experts with the Exari team
Document the findings and lead the team in shaping the conceptual solution
Break the work to be done into short tasks/deliverables, assigning them to Exari staff and client personnel, and identify all tasks and dependencies into a logical implementation task plan by which to manage and monitor day-to-day work and progress
Manage/influence all project personnel (Exari and Client) to adhere to the project plan
Escalate and resolve issues/obstacles in a manner which still allows the project effort to stay on track
Communicate project status to Exari and external customer's upper management on a regular, succinct and effective basis, and perform other
Achieving the project success criteria, on-time, on-budget and with a high degree of client satisfaction.
Other responsibilities include:
Managing smaller ongoing client relationships to ensure retainers are well-managed and communication on priorities and progress is always delivered.
Mentoring more junior personnel
Developing / expanding project management and project delivery methodology and artifacts
Position requirements include:
Knowledge of contracting and enterprise contract management solutions
Equivalent relevant work experience, especially a track record of success in project management, and experience in running enterprise software installation (package product software) / configuration / integration and/or business process redesign projects on a small-to-medium size scale
Experience with effective project management methodologies and tools. Experience with project planning, budgeting, forecasting, time tracking and invoicing
Experience with writing scopes of work and documenting solution requirements, especially in the areas of workflow and technical integration
Strong client management (vendor/ external customer relationship) experience
Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
Demonstrable experience with group presentation and meeting management
Excellent with problem solving, analysis and time management
Business analysis, documentation and test planning
Experience with requirements gathering initiatives
Deep experience with different project methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative/Spiral, Agile)
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project
Other technical background and legal background is a plus
Experience in commercial banking, insurance, or sales operations projects a plus
BS/BA, MS and/or PM Certification desired (e.g., PMI, PMP, Prince2, ScrumMaster)
Some travel is required (approximately 25-50% at beginning of project, on average 15%)
