Responsibilities:
Analyzes existing environment and processes to result in proposals for new systems.
Develops business requirements as well as defines technical and procedural improvements.
Reviews and recommends updates and/or enhancements needed to support Giftango applications.
Partners with internal departments and technical staff to evaluate business initiatives and develop the most efficient, cost effective solution
Maintains knowledge of project management standards and develops project plans as needed. Maintains adherence to project schedules and timelines. Prioritizes multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
Facilitates the creation of project charters, business requirements, resource timeline estimates, statements of work, user stories, and other project related documentation.
Utilizes formal SDLC to coordinate system development and testing activities
Provides project status reports and meeting minutes to appropriate consumers of this information. Maintain aggregate project management reporting for executive management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, IT, or other related course of study.
2+ years business analyst experience building software applications
Experience working in project teams and solid understanding of project management
Possess in-depth knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role
Knowledge in business intelligence and reporting tools desired
Ability to formulate implementation options and help achieve win-win solutions for internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
Able to function in complex environments with minimal direction
Solid individual performance while partnering with others
Works well through self-directed effort
Shares knowledge in area of expertise
Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward project completion
Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training in project management practices
Working knowledge of SharePoint
In-depth knowledge of SQL, Visual Studio, and TFS
Experience managing in an Agile environment
Scrum Master training or experience
