Project Manager CH Mack
Position Summary:
Manage large, high-risk projects impacting several cross-functional areas of IS and/or business processes. Partner closely with Client across all stakeholders including: Business Partners, IT, Executive Management, and Project Managers to help achieve intended results, in alignment with the PMO standards. Proactively identify and communicate project risks and/or barriers to success, working with stakeholders to mitigate. Actively participate with IT management to ensure project is aligned with overall infrastructure needs. Mentoring of project managers is required. Active participation on PMO improvement teams may be assigned.
Reports To: VP of Professional Services
Essential Functions:
Must have enterprise implementation experience and/or managing IT product engineering teams.
Provide strategic project leadership, coach and mentor cross-functional team.
Owns the delivery of all contractual commitments.
Owns the relationship with the client at all levels of the client organization.
Manage a cross functional team in a matrix organization.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
Ensure Project life cycle is followed and milestones are approved by client.
Ensure delivery per Statement of Work, Change Requests as needed.
Ensure that a Kick-off Meeting and review of Contract is completed for all projects.
Establish and update detailed project plans, schedules with actual and forecasts and manage deviations from plan and project parameters.
Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and vigorously pursued to deliver the final product.
Ensure quality is achieved as planned within corporate governances.
Deliver to time and cost commitments specified in SOW.
Obtain and mange all necessary services and resources involved with assigned projects.
Facilitate communication to all involved, executive management through project resources, and manage stakeholder relationships, assuring overall customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership to project team and stakeholders and apply conflict resolution skills to resolve project issues.
Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed.
Approve all appropriate project expenditures.
Approve or recommend all required commitments.
Ensure satisfactory transfer of care, custody and control of product upon completion to support team.
Close all project documentation and archive appropriate records and contributes to process and methodology improvement based on performance analysis and lessons learned.
Ensure Readiness for Go live and Support Team is engaged.
Continually self-educate, using various publications and periodicals, in order to stay current with technology and system development methodologies.
Understand and comply with government regulations regarding work, including but not limited to HIPPA regulations.
Solve business problems and formulate work breakdown structures.
Excellent ability to facilitate meetings and ensure each meeting is documented , meeting minutes distributed and archived in MS Project Server.
Proactively manage AR with client.
Generate Executive Status Repot in a pre-defined format.
Performs other duties assigned by VP Professional Services.
Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor degree, or 15 years comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position or internship.
Worked as a project manager or comparable experience externally for 10+ years.
PMP certification highly recommended.
Must have firm understanding of the principles and practices of software development processes and activities; relationship and team building practices, knowledge of the companys products and services.
Understanding of Care Management business functionality or Healthcare vertical is a plus.
Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined.
Demonstrated understanding of the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions.
Understands and/or has knowledge of Agile Methodology.
Managing cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
Problem solving and organizational skills are required.
Excel at team motivation and delegation.
Good oral communication and professional writing skills.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position without direction.

Project Management:
Client documents, Statement of Work, Change Requests are consistently developed with the input of the cross-functional team ensuring that business and technical scope and objectives are met.
Realistic project milestones and standards are followed.
Project Deliverables are completed to established milestones per approved contract/Statement of Work and/or Change Requests.
Projects consistently make a smooth and seamless transition from Sales to Implementation to Support teams.
