Project Manager, Communications GTM Jawbone

The Project Manager for Communications GTM s, reports to the Director of Product Management for Communication products and is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and launch of Jawbone hardware and software products internationally. S/he will be responsible for working with Product Management, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of timing and launch tasks. S/he will also work on sustained programs after a product launches.
Responsible for cross-functional project coordination to bring our products to market
Maintains detailed documentation and project plans across a variety of projects
Skilled in defining project plans and working with the team to organize the plans
Driving the creation and execution of existing products into new territories and ensuring that a program delivers on time with high quality, within budget, and in accordance with stated business objectives.
Maintaining clear, up-to-date reference documentation for project status and risks and communicate status in person to key stakeholders
Identifying dependencies between individuals and teams and ensuring they are known and communicated by the appropriate party on time
Communicating with all contributors and stakeholders to set expectations and keep everyone focused on the program objectives
Analyzing the project progress to accurately predict launch timeline and delivery
A successful candidate is extremely detail oriented, capturing and communicating every task needed to complete the project. S/he is exceptionally observant, listens well and works collaboratively with others. S/he relentlessly drives the team for on-time delivery while maintaining respectful and responsive relationships. S/he is a superb communicator with all cross-functional teams, exudes positive energy and is willing to go the extra mile for the company and their peers.
Experience/Qualifications Preferred
Experience with consumer products sold through retail
Experience working and managing vendor partners
Minimum Requirements:
2 to 4 years project management experience
Superior oral and written communication skills
Expert problem solving, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, bug tracking
Proficiency in desktop applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
Preferred:
Demonstrated success in project management in tech industry
Experience working in consumer electronics sold through retail outlets
Formal project management training and/or certification
Experience working with hardware / firmware integration
Experience with Bluetooth technologies
Experience with internationalization and localization
