Project Manager, Consulting Netsmart Technologies Inc.
The Project Manager, Consulting will be responsible for the management of one or more projects contained within a defined geography or national practice. The Project Manager will be responsible for the on-time, on-budget project execution and project team management for that practice. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact and will manage all project tasks and issues to successful completion.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
-Leads smaller, less complex engagements.
-Performs role and responsibilities as primary Client contact for all project activities.
-Manages the engagement scope.
-Plans engagement and procures resources.
-Manages engagement milestones and all relevant resources.
-Manages engagement expenses according to plan
- Participates in all client turnover events from sales to implementation to support.
-Completes engagements successfully â€" converts engagements on-time, under budget and exceeding client expectations.
-Applies Netsmart's Plexus implementation methdologies and processes to execute the engagement.
-Follows Netsmart policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.
Job Requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage projects both within scope and within budget and exceeding client expectations. Key skills include leadership with clients and associates, client relationship development, project planning, performance measurement against the project plan and clear communication.
Competencies
Demonstrates leadership by motivating and inspiring associates to maintain project momentum towards successful completion in spite of any obstacles or unexpected issues. Manages client relations by managing the interactions between the client and the rest of the project team. Creates and maintains the project plan and other project supporting collateral (e.g., Project Status Reports) and uses the plan to manage the project. Measures performance against the plan. Communicates clearly, both verbally and written, to the client and the project team. Provides staff development for members of the project team.
