Project Manager- 6 Month Contract
Position Summary
This position is for a Project Manager of a Customer Migration Project within our Technical Operations organization. The Project purpose is to successfully migrate new and existing mortgage document customers to a new document processing system. The project team?s responsibilities include initiating, scheduling and completing customer calls and webinars; training customers on new document system enhancements and functionality; review of customer?s current system configurations; submission of client customization requests; assistance in customer testing; and coordination of customer activation and hand-off. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the project - ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of project
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Coordinate project staff
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables
Provide direction and support to project team
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience; 4+ years of PM experience.
Workforce planning and resource management skills
Qualification in project management or equivalent
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Proven experience in people management
Proven experience in strategic planning
Proficient in project management software
