FieldView Solutions, Inc., is looking for Project Manager to join our high growth, venture backed software startup in its Edison, NJ Corporate Headquarters. FieldView Solutions is the leading provider of real-time Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) data center monitoring software for business. Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operations the person in this key role is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to deliver and manage the operations portion of the FieldView customer relationship. The individual is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to build and maintain software installations that meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with the Sales team to determine scope of work and gain a complete understanding of job once project has been awarded.
Evaluate project?s technical requirements to assure proper staffing and tools are in place to meet customer expectations and profit projections.
Have a good general understanding of the work of the trades and technologies involved in the project.
Schedule and conduct all project meetings, prepare and update project schedule and cost estimates, and maintain project contract documents.
Interface with external customers and internal partners on a regular basis to coordinate requirements, schedules, deliverables, resources and issues.
Assist as needed in DB generation and installation of FieldView software
Manage all document control for projects, including, but not limited to RFI?s, meeting minutes, project billing revenue forecasts, punch lists, transmittal log, submittal log, change order log and issues log.
Coordinate and direct project closure to customer; deliver final project documentation to customer and collect payment.
Job Requirements:
This position manages software developers within the Software Engineering Department. The team being led by this individual (in conjunction with the product architect) manages the customer-facing releases of the company's flagship J2EE application. Feature design, personnel-management, code reviews and application direction falls into this team and its leader. The individual in the position will have the responsibility of maintaining the high quality of the application while constantly considering the future (for scalability and reliability). He/she will be responsible for team management, direction (according to the direction set by the Product Architect), developmental growth and maintaining the application standards.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT field
A minimum of five (5) years of experience as project manager, preferably in an data center environment
Must possess good customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple jobs at one time and stay organized
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
