Project Manager Acurian

Role:
Acurian is seeking a motivated individual with a unique blend of strengths and experience to join our Project Management team. At Acurian, the Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the successful implementation and completion of our recruitment campaigns and retention programs. As a Project Manager on our team, you would oversee and be accountable for all aspects of projects. You are, first and foremost, the client?s advocate to Acurian and Acurian?s advocate to the client. You set the tone for the customer service focused atmosphere which is crucial to our success. Our team is made up of highly sophisticated and responsive individuals who understand the balance between delivering on customer expectations and maximizing revenue for the company ? and further that the former feeds the latter.
Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Leads internal team members to ensure recruitment and retention project milestones are met as contracted.
Ensures revenue is realized and projects function within budgetary perimeters for each project/program assigned.
Understands fully each protocol assigned, in collaboration with Feasibility Department, and is able to lead and participate in creation/coordination of patient recruitment strategy.
Serves as an extension of the client team in order to successfully spearhead the completion of internal deliverables in accordance with study timelines.
Partners with Account Directors to ensure that client expectations are well defined and achieved.
Responsible for leading every client facing meeting which may include, but not limited to, discussing contract deliverables, budget allocation, explaining performance metrics, projection modeling, etc.
Monitors and coordinates the efforts of the internal and external project teams and acts as the primary point of contact for clients.
Leads the development of project turnaround strategies when initial approaches aren?t working.
Oversees IRB approval processes for all patient recruitment materials on a site-by-site basis.
Provides feedback to Management regarding the maintenance of effective levels of recruitment activities for each project.
Provides customer training on Recruitment and Retention Manager, Acurian?s patient tracking software platform.
Analyzes recruitment reports and projections and implements changes to strategy/tactics as necessary to achieve contracted goals.
Requirements:
Minimum of three to four years of experience in project management in clinical research or patient recruitment, in a process-driven, revenue-dependent environment. Experience should not be solely at a pharmaceutical company.
Direct client interaction in a leadership capacity and keen focus customer service instincts.
Demonstrable leadership and problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution
Comfortable in a results-driven, revenue-focused atmosphere that rewards individuals based on merit.
Knowledge base of clinical research, methodology, protocol and study design, and IRB approval process.
Experience in patient recruitment and retention process.
History of attention to detail, self-motivation, well organized, and strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Ability to work individually or within a team in whatever capacity may be required to insure successful completion of program deliverables.
Bachelor Degree strongly preferred, but not required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multi-faceted projects.
Must operate full-time from our Horsham office.
Ability to travel 25%.
