Project Manager / Implementation Specialist Simparel
Simparel's Unified Global ERP Software Solution enables apparel, footwear, accessories and other fashion-related businesses to reach their full potential by accelerating performance across the entire company, as well as the global supply chain.The Project Managers at Simparel are responsible for the successful implementation of our Unified ERP solution at our clients. Responsibilities include planning, project administration, discovery, business process review, documentation, application configuration, gap analysis, specification writing, data conversion, testing and training.
The right candidate for this position has strong working knowledge of apparel, accessories, and footwear companies and has experience designing and configuring ERP & PLM solutions to meet these business requirements.
Responsibilities:
The project manager is responsible for running the entire implementation project and successfully bringing clients live on the Simparel ERP platform. The project manager reports to the Director of Services and utilizes appropriate Simparel resources to ensure a successful implementation. Project activities include:
Planning and strategy for ERP implementation
Conduct discovery meetings with clients to identify their business requirements
Use implementation methodology based on industry best practices including gap analysis
Strong documentation and writing skills
Ability to analyze business processes, recommend solutions and write functional specifications
Install, configure and design the solution based on the result of the business process review
Assist in data conversion process and validation of converted data
Proactively report on progress and issues
Provide training and prepare training material to ensure successful implementation of software
Manage a team of resources to ensure the project is completed on time and within the client's budget
Requirements:
Candidates must have apparel/ fashion industry exposure with ERP background and large software implementation experience.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree.
Candidates must have proven track record of successful ERP implementations.
Candidates must have strong communication skills both oral and written.
