The Project Manager is the single point of contact for clients during implementation of WebLink software and websites and is a key component of a positive customer experience. The Project Manager creates the project plan, gathers all information required to complete the plan, oversees the work on and completion of tasks, addresses all customer issues and concerns, and ensures a high quality result.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages projects involving the implementation of WebLink software and services in chambers of commerce and associations:
Works with sales and relationship management on contract handoffs from Sales to Operations;
Single point of contact for the customer for the entire engagement, from receipt of contract through the delivery of all contracted services;
Sets, manages, and exceeds all customer expectations;
Creates the project plan for the engagement, including tasks, time frames, and resources, and then manages all tasks to the schedule, ensuring quality work;
Accurately forecasts project delivery and meets forecasted commitments;
Facilitates the activities of customer and internal resources to complete all necessary tasks in the engagement, including final payment of any project invoices.
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Undergraduate degree or relevant work experience.
Minimum 2 years of customer-facing project management, or similar experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Software and/or website implementation project management expertise;
Consultation skills with customers on business objectives and best practices
Strong problem-solving methodologies, analytical focus on root cause
Proven client care skills to maintain and enhance client relationships
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent written skills
Detail oriented and dedicated to quality work
Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
Additional Helpful Knowledge and Skills (Not Required)
Experience with organizational change management
Experience with developing and managing implementation methodologies
Experience with forecasting and delivering project revenue
Exposure to data conversion methods and processes
Exposure to .NET software, software configuration, website development, and web components.
