Job Description
The Project Manager will define initiatives between IT Department and Business Units. This position will gather project requirements with approval from IT Manager and client/stakeholders. The Project Manager will maintain detailed documentation during initiation, planning, execution, monitor and control, and closure phases of each project. Create and execute project plans, adjust and reprioritize according to changing needs. Coordinate all resources needed and assignment of individual responsibilities. Facilitate timely and thorough communication throughout the lifecycle of each project including tracking reports, team hours and expenses. Manage client expectations, minimize risk exposure and personally handle damage control. The ideal candidate will continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships as well as develop team mentality where communication, solutions and good relationships are fostered.
Experience and Skills
Requirements:
5+ years IT experience and 2 years of experience using project management methodologies.
Proficient with network, storage, server administration and database technologies.
Knowledge in SharePoint, Unified Communications and other Enterprise Productivity Solutions.
Excellent management, leadership and organizational skills.
Practical experience using applications manage project lifecycle.
Experience in technical writing and creation of training materials.
Litigation domain knowledge is preferred.
Certification in Project Management is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or related field.
Must be able to pass a Federal Background check and Drug Screen.
