Manages the company?s billable consulting programs. Leads the following areas: implementations; change requests; or other areas of customer consulting services. Works with senior management to implement billable consulting policies and procedures. Leads activities of consulting unit to ensure professional and effective services to customers. Responsible for personnel resource allocation. Evaluates and assesses new implementation and retainer projects based upon size, complexity, percent of participation, and time frame. Schedules projects and oversees progress and resolves conflicts involving scheduling, resources, or technical issues. Prepares regular reports outlining team assignments and/or changes, project status changes and/or retainer contracts taken.
Uses subject matter expertise to consult with clients regarding HR Analytics, Modeling, Succession Planning and Compensation Planning practices. Prepares and delivers presentations and training to colleagues, clients, attorneys, and government representatives on HR systems. Assures the proper use of current or requested programming, testing, and documentation. Analyzes statistics regarding employment and market data, including but not limited to applicant flow, hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and training.
? Partner with the Sales Organization to sell services offerings within the assigned region including appropriately scoping and managing statements of work throughout the process.
? Work with Technology and Product Management by meeting with prospects to discuss new product requirements, providing them direction with respect to Service?s abilities and pricing requirements, ensuring all Services requirements are met.
? Through the generation of creative and innovative service offerings, increase revenue and profitability by marketing programs to the customer base including consulting with customers on business needs and product functionality, analyzing and documenting business and operational requirements.
? Ensure the profitability of the Professional Services department by providing input into the short, medium and long term business plan, preparing departmental plan, budget, control and manage accordingly.
? Optimize organization to improve services offerings. Create greater efficiency and synergy throughout the implementation/training cycle; improving customer satisfaction through the transition to product support. Facilitate communication of business plan by relaying departmental strategy to all staff members and identifying roles and responsibilities.
? Manage and develop staff by providing direction, establishing clear, measurable objectives, managing performance, train, coach, and counsel.
? Maximize on-going revenue by building strong relationships with customers, discussing their operational issues, promoting Professional Services and negotiating changes to services contracts.
? Maximize the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the Professional Services department by analyzing time data, identifying anomalies, identifying critical areas, making adjustments as required and utilizing the information in future planning and budgeting.
? Possess a thorough understanding of all professional services procedure and concepts. This includes performance benchmarks and product profitability/resource allocation/efficiency standards.
? Solid experience with software application sales and project scheduling
? Knowledge of current and new technologies, tools, methodologies and industry requirements and impact to the professional services and support operations.
? Expert in communication, organization, presentation, leadership, coaching, problem solving and negotiation.
? Ability to extend solutions beyond the present problem.
? Expert project management skills.
? Strong working financial management skills.
? Knowledge of HRIS systems, especially SAP, Peoplesoft or Oracle would be helpful
