Job Summary:
The Project Manager will join a global team responsible for delivering managed services in support of our Fortune 100 financial services client?s mission critical business environment. Working alongside a very strong technical team, the Project Manager will provide the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain and execute project plans in compliance with existing policies and procedures, as well as drive process improvements, for multiple projects at one time.
Act as the primary contact person on all project issues.
Provide leadership to project activities, ensuring project delivery within the constraints of scope, quality, time and costs in order to meet project objectives and to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction. Provide direction and support to project team.
Interact effectively with all levels of client organizations; develop strong working relationships with clients.
Estimate implementation costs and manage to budget; track resource scheduling and project time utilization. Manage project resource allocation.
Track project progress and report status internally and to clients throughout the project life cycle.
Collaborate with Stratus? technical teams to ensure the timely execution and successful deployment of projects.
Effectively deliver projects with minimal management oversight.
Qualifications:
At least 5+ years? experience in a managed services or customer-facing project management role.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent.
Demonstrated track record of successful management and delivery of highly complex projects and programs is required.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at all levels within an organization.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated initiative and proactive sense of urgency in resolving problems and preventing recurrence.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook
Desired Experience:
Familiarity with Stratus? products, architecture and enabling technologies is a strong positive.
Experience with other MS desktop software, SharePoint, and Project Server.
