Sympoz was founded in May 2010 by an experienced executive team from eBay, Yahoo, and ServiceMagic. Product Manager of Mobile leads the definition of Craftsy?s evolution on to smartphone and tablet devices. The role reports to the VP of Product and is a key member of the mobile product and design team. This position requires a strong strategic thinker, extensive experience with mobile products and track record of data-driven decision-making and delivering compelling user experiences. The individual must be highly organized, effective and a motivated product leader. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits with an attractive ground-floor equity opportunity. The role is based in Craftsy?s Denver, CO headquarters.
Define and execute Craftsy?s product strategy for mobile web and applications. Manage the product roadmap for mobile user experience, in partnership with Design, Engineering and Marketing teams, to ensure that deliverables are understood, projects and features prioritized, and deadlines met.
Own the consumer POV on mobile devices. Work closely with Craftsy users to understand their needs and desires with regard to their Craftsy experience. Analyze and interpret user feedback, develop insights and author product specs and user stories. Collaborate with UI/UX and Engineering teams to define and execute a product roadmap for mobile and emerging devices which exceeds user expectations.
Know the business. Become Craftsy?s mobile business expert. Gather and share insights into emerging device platform and usage trends. Establish key metrics, set up analytics and reporting systems to measure usage patterns of Craftsy on mobile devices. Use external market information and product usage data to make key decisions on product priorities.
Build partner relationships. Develop business relationships that accelerate Craftsy?s presence across devices and platforms. Make presentations, give demonstrations, build key relations and evangelize the Craftsy offering.
- Proven depth of knowledge in mobile technologies and emerging devices
- Demonstrated experience with hands-on product execution required to bring - mobile products to market and grow a business (e.g., new users, engagement, monetization)
- Proven analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven decision making
- Proven ability to manage complex, constantly evolving product development projects
- Start-up experience or other experience with accomplishing a lot quickly with limited resources
- Demonstration of excellence in product management amongst an elite peer group
