Our Project Managers work alongside our Commissioning Engineers (CEs) in the Metaswitch Customer Support team. This team has played a key role in the successful deployment of Metaswitch equipment to provide next generation voice services in 400+ carriers' networks. Our customers have consistently reported the exceptional quality of Metaswitch?s customer support as one of our key differentiators.
The team is comprised of a combination of
industry veterans with a vast range of experience in support
engineers who previously worked in the product development team and in many cases wrote the software that they are now supporting.
Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment of new systems and managing the installation process from the point an order is raised through delivery, installation and commissioning to acceptance by the customer. In North America, we have a dedicated team of 4 Project Managers.
Metaswitch's customer base continues to grow, and therefore we are expanding the Metaswitch Customer Support team in North America.
The successful Project Manager is to be preferably based at one of our offices in San Francisco, CA, Reston, VA, or Richardson, TX but applicants working from a remote home office anywhere in North America will be considered.
After an initial training period, successful candidates will become a full part of the Metaswitch Customer Support team, working with a wide range of customers to ensure that their new Metaswitch equipment is successfully brought into service. This involves working closely with
our sales team to understand what equipment has been bought and how they expect the deployment to run
the customer to understand their requirements in detail and mapping out an implementation plan with them
the rest of the Support organization to ensure that we deliver on the implementation plan
any third party contractors involved in the deployment
Accounting to be sure all purchasing orders and invoices are properly tracked and charged to the correct accounts
We believe firmly in hands-on training, so the successful candidate will very quickly find themselves working directly with our customers on large, complex projects that are vital to their business success.
For this position, we need someone who has
a strong record of working in the Telecoms industry, preferably in a technical support capacity
an aptitude for understanding and solving complex problems
energy, enthusiasm, versatility and creativity
excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
