Description: Meebo is now a family of products that include the Meebo Bar, Meebo.com, our mobile applications, our desktop notifier and browser extensions. Some of these products are releasing as frequently as every 2-3 weeks with bug fixes and new features. It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of all that is going on, especially at the rate that we're growing If you are a super organized and detailed person who thrives on getting things done on time and can keep up with engineers, we're looking for a great project manager to help us manage releases and drive the product development schedule.

As Meebo's project manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers and designers to plan our products and manage the release process and schedule. Working with the product development team, you will help refine our process to set realistic deadlines and drive the team to meet those deadlines. You will help communicate and track the status of our releases and the schedule for some of our largest projects. You will drive the timely delivery of our products to our users and business partners.

Responsibilities include:

- Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and designers on a number of products to scope and estimate tasks and projects
- Drive the development schedule, release process and communicate status to stakeholders on the team
- Facilitate bug triage and coordinate with customer support
- Facilitate retrospectives to integrate team feedback and to constantly improve process
- Identify, mitigate and escalate risks, develop contingencies

Necessary but not sufficient requirements:

- 2+ years of project management experience
- BA/BS degree required
- Technical competence to be able to work with front-end and back-end engineers and help resolve communication issues
- Experience with agile methodology a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and demonstrate the ability to resolve operational and integration challenges
- Process oriented but flexible to work within an agile start-up environment
- Familiarity with source code version control systems (SVN) a big plus
- Experience project managing consumer web applications is also a plus.
- You'll be a full-time, integral member of the product team, coordinating between product and server teams.
