Project Manager Branding Brand
A Project Manager is responsible managing clients through the project development lifecycle, working with the Design, Engineering, QA, and Account Management teams in planning, developing, testing, and launching new mobile sites and applications. Specific tasks on each project will include authoring functional requirements, developing project plans and schedules, managing tasks and teams on the project's critical path, defining and testing usability, and identifying and resolving issues. We are looking for applicants with experience successfully managing software development projects, and a desire to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
Day to day primary point of contact for clients during the development process
Manage key projects through the project development lifecyle: gather business requirements, define scope, draft functional spec and process flow diagrams, create timeline and launch milestones, and manage project through design, development, QA and launch
Responsible for all client communication, problem solving, and managing client deliverables
Develop strong, productive client relationships
Help define process improvements to improve work-flow and efficiency of the development process
Gather necessary assets required for development of each project, including but not limited to: specifications, HTML, Images, workflow diagrams, test data, and any additional technical documentation required
Provide necessary feedback to internal and client stakeholders. Examples include: specification feedback, changes to launch calendar, issue escalation, and scope changes/clarifications
Desired Skills & Experience
BS or equivalent degree required
5+ years working managing projects in a software development environment, preferably with consumer orientated projects
Demonstrated ability to manage software development projects through the project life cycle
Successful track record in working with business and technology teams to define, develop, test, and launch new products
Experience in authoring business and technical requirements. Strong writing and documentation skills are a necessity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity and strong working knowledge of project management tools: Basecamp, MS Project, Jira
Strong problem solving and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
Comfortable interacting with and managing large clients
High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
Strong working knowledge of website and mobile UI ? what makes a good user experience online and via mobile devices
Enthusiasm or experience with mobile technologies is a plus
