Project Manager Clinicient
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Clinicient, Inc is looking for a seasoned Project Manager who enjoys exercising a broad set of skills and wants to be a part of a close-knit team delivering a SAAS solution nationwide to the healthcare industry.
This individual will be the main person responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our internal and external systems, and because we host our own solution, familiarity with network, hardware and software systems are required. The right candidate is customer focused and gets energy from problem solving and teaming with others on projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with product management and engineering for planning and preparing development iterations, including driving team to provide estimates and reconfirming use-cases are meaningful.
Matrix management of cross-functional teams using agile industry best practices, including capacity planning, day to day project execution, and release management.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects during each iteration, including driving team to complete assigned work, escalating issues for resolution, and managing the software release process and communications.
Identify, categorize and facilitate risk mitigation to improve all aspects of the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, QA, and release.
Provide oversight of key performance indicators: predictability, velocity, and quality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2-5 years of experience in software project management using agile methodologies.
Experience with matrix management of technology teams, preferably client-server and web application development and Business Intelligence with infrastructure aspects.
Healthcare related experience is desirable.
Degree in IT/computer science or related field is desirable.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Project Management experience or training in agile methodologies.
Understanding of software development lifecycles, from requirements to release.
Understanding of software and IT technologies.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Strong interpersonal communication skills in a dynamic group environment.
Very strong client side development skills a must.
Above all, excellent communication skills. The ability to prioritize multiple projects, identify risks, internally sell solutions, and enlist support from a technical audience will be the cornerstone of getting work done at Clinicient.

SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
The Project Manager will interface primarily with internal staff as well as possible group of external group of developers. The individual in this position will be a key contributor to remote development. They will work closely with management, product management and other technical staff to complete their work. Coordination between development, architecture, infrastructure, product management and quality assurance is critical to development iterations. They will often need to work without immediate supervision but responsible for following, communicating, and improving established processes and standards. Priority and timelines will be immediately supervised.
This position is performed primarily in an office environment. Significant portions of the job require extended sedentary periods, constant work with computers (including extended period of keyboarding), and repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
