Project Manager/Post Sales Engineer Partsearch Technologies

Overview

Partsearch is seeking a Project Manager/Post-Sales Engineer to drive our client implementation process, on time and in scope. This includes new client implementations as well as new product implementations for existing clients.

The Project Manager/Post-Sales Engineer will be a dedicated, internal resource to the Business Development team. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, highly organized and be able to interface internally and externally. Since this position will also need to coordinate with our technology group candidates should have good understanding of technology systems and be able to communicate system requirements and limitations to our business development team and if needed, our external clients. The desired candidate should also be comfortable in a dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple projects.
Key Job Elements:

- Post-sales support for Sales and Client Services
- Support Business Development in qualifying business needs of new and existing clients
- Act as liaison with Technology during all external implementations
- Assist SVP of Business Development with resources roadmap ensuring that prioritization is balanced by revenue & effort
- Preparing technical proposals for IT products, IT project services, and IT management consulting services
- Lead project to shorten the implementation timelines for all products
- Help Evaluate Sales Efforts - Post event evaluations ROI, and verify effectiveness
- Author Win/Loss Reports
- Internal Kick-Off meeting with Account Manager
- Management of Implementation Checklist and appropriate follow through on missing items
- Work with internal and external technical resources and finance to implement program
- Establish a launch dates
- Project Manage the deliverables for an on-time and successful launch
- Participate in UAT & QA prior to release to client

Requirements and Qualifications:

- 5+ years of progressive experience in project management or as a sales engineer
- Bachelors Degree in business, technology or engineering MBA highly preferred
- Superior communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Good team player and collaborator
- Solid track record in the successful on time delivery of projects
- Excellent multi-task abilities.
