P2 Energy Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for Professional Services. This position will ensure the efficient, effective and consistent delivery of P2 Professional Services, and maximize P2 Professional Revenues. As a Project Manager for Professional Services, you will oversee and provide direction on projects of all sizes and complexity. Your leadership will cross organizational and functional boundaries. You will Provide budget analysis, labor planning, and coordination of activities between client and company personnel.
Additionally, the Project Manager is the mediator for internal issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to clients. You will monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Candidate must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced company; have proven communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Manage day-to-day activities related to multiple projects within a business unit to ensure achievement of business goals and objectives.
Formulate goals, identify key stakeholders, and manage relationships. Resolve concerns on highly significant matters.
Develop business processes to manage projects. Align with other projects. Track, monitor, and report activities. Analyze results. Present insights and best practices.
Manage project reviews to assess overall project effectiveness. Ensure consistent methodology and alignment with business unit priorities.
Advise management of significant findings.
Develop, monitor, and review project budgets. Verify expenditures vs. actual - Explain variances.
Develop, implement, and share best practices and tools in areas such as technology development, project management, risk management, change management, document retention and management, and post-implementation review.
Identify and facilitate technology changes to support project needs.
Develop, implement, and document procedures. Adhere to corporate communication standards and procedures. Obtain and provide required approvals.
Coordinate and administer assignments, monitor team progress, and maintain schedules.
Develop team members and provide ongoing professional guidance and direction.
P2 Professional Services Management Team
Regular Communications, dotted or solid line reporting responsibility to ensure:
Consistent delivery of Global Professional Service?s metholodology
Improved cross training and best practice sharing across enterprise.
Sales, Development, Support
Regular Communication to ensure the cross-function teams understand:
the anticipated resources required
resource and/or other constraints/dependencies
project status and progress relative to committed deliverables
product issues that are encountered in the field
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
Oil & Gas industry knowledge preferable
Significant SAP with PRA experience.
Some knowledge of P2 products
