The Project Manger will be the primary point of contact for multi-tasking software implementations, typically 6-12 months in duration. The individual will be the main liaison and coordinator for the Customer and/or their agency, along with coordinating activities for Covario Sales, Product Development, Professional Services technical team members, and Production Operations. The individual preferably should have experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy start-up environment and comfortable managing multiple projects for Fortune 500 customers.
Responsibilities:
Articulating complex technology and software solutions to both technical and business audiences.
Coordinating with client stakeholders in planning and prioritizing new development projects, enhancement projects for existing systems, or maintenance requests.
Coordinating and managing team members? participation of various projects.
Scheduling tasks and ensuring completion for team members according to the scope of the project design and contractual agreements.
Communicating effectively with the client and team to assure that needs are met
Supervising and guiding the design and development activities for entire applications ensuring that development adheres to company's processes including the Client Engagement Life Cycle.
Driving growth by conducting business development opportunities, including client presentations, demonstrations and up-sale proposals within existing clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related business or technical field.
PMI certification desired (or similar project management training)
Six to eight (6-8) years experience in managing software implementation projects.
Leadership and management skills, experience in managing, capabilities of motivating clients and peers, analysis and problem-solving skills, execution skills and the right drive to meet tight deadlines without compromising on the quality of the delivery
Experience in project management, onsite and telephone training, software implementations, conversions, testing (QA), set-ups and documentation.
Great communication skills with clients at all levels and with the Company?s staff, tenacity to solve clients? problems quickly and to provide them with excellent service. Experience with Fortune 500 customers desired.
Good technological, software and information systems knowledge in order to effectively communicate with clients and the software development staff on cross-departmental issues. Includes but is not limited to MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio.
Ability to manage multiple projects (5-10) at various software implementation stages to ensure tasks and deadlines are met efficiently and confidently.
Preferred Experience (not required):
Bachelor's degree in related business or technical field.
PMI certification desired (or similar project management training)
Six to eight (6-8) years experience in managing software implementation projects.
SEO / SEM experience preferred
Experience with Fortune 500 customers desired.
