Description
The Rivermine Professional Services Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the delivery of Rivermine?s Enterprise Telecommunication Expense Management software and services to Fortune 1000 customers. The PM manages all aspects of the deployment lifecycle including: solution definition, requirements gathering, detailed design, software setup, services setup, testing and deployment. This position requires strong customer facing skills to manage delivery resources and to provide value added consulting services in managing customer engagements.
The following outlines the typical job description of a Rivermine Professional Services Project Manager.
Specific duties include:
Acquire, retain, and communicate detailed product knowledge of all Rivermine software and services to execute and successfully deliver customer implementations
Build and manage to well-structure project plans and Statements of Work
Work with the customers in developing best approaches to use Rivermine software as a means to accomplish their telecom expense management objectives
Exhibit excellent communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of project timelines, milestones, and delivery expectation
Provide direction to project resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, and identify issues that require escalation
Closely monitor change requests and prevent unapproved requirement modifications that result in scope creep
Schedule and facilitate project status meetings and advise management on the effects that change requests will have on schedule and resources.
Motivate and build teams who are dedicated to project delivery
Provide product feedback (customer requirements, product shortcomings, enhancements, etc.) to product management and/or engineering.
Qualifications:
5+ years of application software implementation and/or management consulting experience in applying technology to meet customer needs.
3+ years of Program/Project management skills and experience (work estimates and estimating models).
Full life cycle application software implementation or development experience that includes large, complex package and/or custom software implementations with Fortune 1000 customers
Knowledge of web-based architectures
Functional knowledge of Enterprise Telecommunication Management and experience working with client business process owners is highly desirable
Strong oral presentation and written communications skills and analytical problem-solving skills.
Self starter with a proved track record of success. Solid team player with a positive attitude and a record of consistent follow through on commitments.
Availability for overnight travel (approx 25%)
