Project Manager Achates Power
The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery, cost and quality of an engine development project. The successful candidate will be required to:Manage a multi-disciplinary project team, including engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, material control, assembly and testing
Create and maintain detailed objectives, schedules and budgets
Ensure prompt and proper resolution of all project issues
Prepare and present project status updates and milestone documents to company management and external customers
Develop, maintain and update the company's project management processes as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of on-the-job project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry
Knowledge of engines
Experience managing new technology development projects
Team leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
Desirable Skills:
Master's degree in mechanical engineering
MBA or equivalent
