The role of Project Manager, serves as liaison between the company and the client during project planning, installation and closure. Duties are to ensure customer satisfaction of Practice solutions by managing the details of overall project schedules and deliverables. This position involves interaction with sales, systems engineering and service coordinator, monitors the project from initiation through delivery and ensures completion of project on schedule and within budget constraints.
? Works closely with the National and/or Regional Practice Director(s) and the regional team to develop proposals and coordinate engineering projects.
? Manages customer relationships during engagements in order to assess and assure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
? Communicates in a timely and accurate manner with all parties as to the progress and completion of each engagement.
? Works closely with the Engineering Operations team to develop and implement new processes and continually improve customers? communications and quality of service.
? Teams to create, review and edit Statements of Work (SOWs) for engagements and forward to Account Executives and Engineers.
? Cross-trains for other Project Management projects as a back-up for vacations, sick leave, etc.
? Conducts kick-off meetings, weekly meetings and project closure meetings.
? Resolves project conflict.
? Creates and manages project plans.
? Assembles and edits written documents for a technical audience.
? Understands and abide by all security and operational policies.
? Bachelor?s degree preferred.
? 3-5 years experience coordinating the delivery of engineering services within the IT or networking industry
? PMP certification preferred.
? Exceptional organizational, customer service, interpersonal (including verbal and written communication skills).
? Ability to collaborate with technical engineers and Account Executives effortlessly.
? Familiarity with the technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of Practice products and services.
? Excellent computer skills including MS Office. Familiarity with Microsoft Project and other Project Management tools.
? Ability to work with a cross-functional team that includes all levels of the organization.
? Ability to prioritize ever-changing priorities.
? Must be extremely organized and great follow up skills.
? Ability to take direction from multiple people.
? Deals with ambiguity.
? Ability to create and maintain processes.
