Overview:
iCrossing is looking for a Project Manager in our San Francisco office.
The Project Manager will work with one of iCrossing?s largest accounts, servicing a Fortune 500 client by leadingWeb development projects, overseeing creative and technical teams, interacting with business managers and being responsible for producing projects on time and on budget. The Project Manager will support projects covering multiple service lines, with a primary focus on web-development projects. The PM will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Directors.
The Project Manager is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as well as working on a variety of assignments and technologies. The PM thrives on learning new technologies, has a direct contribution to the success of the business, and thinks entrepreneurially.??
Responsibilities:
Lead projects and support senior Project Management team members on an iCrossing Top 10 account
Define project scope, timelines and budgets in close collaboration with project teams; track and report on progress against schedules and budgets and ensure team adheres to project scope
Collaborate with internal team to develop and maintain project documents including timelines, internal processes, and deliverables for each client?s program
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure that deliverables are understood and that deadlines are met on time and with consistency and accuracy
Act as a communication lead by scheduling and leading meetings and preparing internal and external agendas and meeting notes
Facilitate communications between business owners and project teams, demonstrating an ability to work with both business and technical aspects of the account
Plan for and control quality by reviewing items before delivery to client; monitoring and enhancing internal and external deliverables/documents; working with internal teams on needed revisions/modifications/enhancements, and involving the Quality Assurance team at key project junctures
Create internal and external status reports to be delivered to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure project team is continually updated, and management as appropriate, on client?s programs, including successes, issues, concerns or feedback
Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects
Maintain an understanding of industry trends and research industry-related media
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience
4 or more years of relevant experience managing projects (preferably 2-3 years within an interactive advertising or marketing agency environment)
Knowledge of project management principles, methods and techniques
Understanding of technical and creative design and development principles
Experience managing resources, budgets and project timing
Experience analyzing complex data reports
Proficient in MS Project and the entire MS Office Suite
CAPM-certified or demonstrated equivalent experience
