Project Manager Cornerstone OnDemand

You will provide project management support to help ensure that our software development projects are coordinated and completed successfully. You will summarize and report on project status for internal management and project teams. You will work closely with our developers, testers and product managers to plan and execute projects, assess and respond to risks, and identify and track issues. To be a good fit for this position you will have at least five years of software technology project management experience.
Responsibilities
Manage project timelines and resource utilization
Create detailed project plans from estimated scope of work
Recommend assignment of project plan tasks to team members
Provide project planning and scope estimation
Track project status and provide in-depth status reports to the Management
Track and manage all project related issues and risks
Lead regular project status meetings to report status and facilitate issue resolution
Participate in developing overall project strategy
Apply consistent approach and deliver consistent quality across projects
Other project tasks as assigned by manager
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
5 years in project management, business analysis, process design, research and competitive analysis, package implementation, knowledge of multiple technologies and interactive design
Expertise in one or more industries, organizational structures, business process design techniques and development methodologies
Thorough understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively manage through the complexities of the business solution
Experience in full lifecycle software development process and methods
Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teams with minimal supervision
Highly proficient using Excel and Word
Proficient in MS Project and Visio, MS Project Server and Sharepoint Server experience preferred
PMI or PMP certification, desired but not required
Agile certification (CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP), desired but not required
