Responsibilities
We are looking for an individual to join an empowered, self-organizing, and self-accountable team that is responsible for delivery of successful outcomes with each sprint. This person will:
Facilitate the team?s progress toward the goal
Maintain a multiple-sprint release plan, release trajectory, and release burndown, based on capacity and velocity predictions
Lead the team?s efforts in continuous improvement
Establish team working agreements, help resolve impediments, facilitate productivity, and increase the probability of success in each sprint
Champion accountability within and outside the team
Be a representative at a scrum-of-scrums, coordinating dependencies across teams
Provide visibility of team status and issues to senior management
Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation
Required Skills/Experience
3+ years experience as a Scrum Master
5+ years experience with Agile software development teams
10+ years experience with software development projects
Experience with Enterprise Software Development
Experience with globally distributed and virtual teams
Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices
Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
Excellent team player and team builder, collaborative in driving decisions
Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Must be self-motivated
