Project Manager Skire

This individual will be leading customer implementations for Skires Professional Services organization. They will work closely with Skire Account Executives to align customer needs, phasing and overall implementation strategy to deliver the highest value to our customers.
Project Managers will need to demonstrate both a strategic view of their customers as well as tactical daily project oversight and monitoring for ensuring successful implementations with respect to scope, schedule, budget and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and provide guidance for applying proven project management techniques, methods and tools for customer implementations aligned with Skires methodology
- Provide leadership and direction for integrating project activities to maximize project efficiencies
- Understand customer business cases and priorities to ensure the highest value is delivered for our customers
- Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems
- Manage the progress of project(s) with regard to schedule, budget, scope and quality
- Anticipate and identify risks that may impact deliverables and develops and implements corrective actions
- Provide resource and project structure alternatives to creatively deliver projects without compromising the quality of the implementation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting background
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible, hands-on experience in Project Management; including managing dispersed project teams of 35+ members
- Minimum of 10 years of experience for the delivery of technology solutions
- Demonstrated ability to guide and support project teams in solving complex issues across their organizations
- Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing large complex cross departmental projects
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, manage expectations and build strong working relationships at multiple levels within an organization
- Broad understanding of SDLC, testing, change management and project management methodologies
- Project Management schedule software experience, preferably with MS Project
- Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and customer relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as influencing and negotiating skills
- A Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
- PMI membership preferred.
