The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing new client implementations. This includes interacting with clients effectively to gather and document specific business requirements. The PM is responsible for ensuring that the client business requirements are met, the project plan is defined and the implementation stays on track with any risks identified and communicated. Additionally it is the PM?s responsibility to manage the client relationship effectively.
The PM will:
?Interface with client to prepare and update Business Requirements Document including thorough data analysis and mapping
?Plan, schedule and execute all stages of the implementations and monitor progress to meet deadlines
?Communicate all statuses clearly - track, plan, and report implementation progress, identifying and escalating project risks and resource conflicts to internal stakeholders and top management.
?Monitor the status of tasks on a daily basis to achieve on-time, quality completion of the implementation
?Act as the expert on behalf of Billtrust?s products
?Work with the client to effectively gather business requirements and manage client expectations
?Proactively communicate accurate and timely implementation status reports, issues and risks
?Maintain communication with assigned development teams
?Provide immediate escalation of project ?red flags? and/or conflicts
?Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals
?Guarantee the attainment of key milestones by proactively tracking metrics and project outputs
?Conduct planning and operational readiness assessments to provide an effective transition into production
?Three to five years of proven experience in successfully managing IT projects
?Experience in managing technical implementation projects
?Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
?The ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization as well as external clients to clearly communicate status and risks
?Proven aptitude and perseverance in problem solving and learning
?Ability to weigh alternatives and determine development and/or deployment strategies
