What will the Project Manager be responsible for?
This position will report to the Sr. Director of Operations. The Project Manager will interface directly with the Core Performance teams, other project managers, clients, suppliers, and partners and have responsibility for leading cross functional delivery teams to plan and implement Wellness Solutions from facility based to digital based.
Specifically, the Project Manager will be accountable to develop and manage a comprehensive implementation plan for the delivery of CP Solutions in accordance with the CP Project Life Cycle. Typical functions managed within projects include hardware/software technology, fitness equipment ordering, installation and testing, site marketing, design of on-going operations and support procedures, and coordinating overall solution implementation with facility construction timelines. Additionally, the Project Manager will help to define/refine the existing CP Project Life Cycle to ensure implementation efficiency.
This individual will be given significant latitude and responsibility in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment that requires a propensity for process definition & action and an enthusiasm for helping people get healthier.
Manage project delivery to scope, schedule and budget
Support overall project management status reporting and process
Manage and influence delivery teams to meet business commitments
Actively engage with business partners, customers, Core Performance teams and suppliers ? each at the appropriate level of detail and frequency
Coordinate the status, tracking and communication of all project change
Understand business priorities and strategies
Be a ?face? to the customer for project delivery
Manage day-to-day activities for project delivery
Proactively perform risk mitigation and escalate issues within appropriate timeframe
Continuously develop, define and support project management tools, processes and infrastructure
What does it take to be a Project Manager with Core Performance?
Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher
Formal Project Management Training (i.e. PMP, PMI etc.)
Project Management Skills: Capable of successfully directing project planning, development and implementation according to cost, schedule, and scope requirements
People Management Skills: Manage cross-functional teams responsible for delivering high-quality project outputs on time and within budget. Ensures appropriate management, customer, and supplier involvement throughout the life of the project
Customer Interface Skills: As a primary customer interface, incumbent must be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns, and assure customer project is being executed effectively
Prior Project experience required. 5+ years of experience working on projects / programs, with at least 3 years serving successfully in positions of major responsibilities such as a Project Manager
Excellent business management and developmental skills
Creative thinker with a bias for action
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to coordinate efforts and dependencies between multiple teams
Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities, and responsive to customer requests
Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines
Demonstrates business knowledge, strategic perspective and ethical behavior
Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic
Financial management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning tools / software
Excellent presentation and communications skills
Ideal candidate has an understanding or passion for the fitness, health and/or wellness space
