Position Overview
This position reports into the professional services organization with responsibility for all aspects of planning and delivering professional services contracts to the customer.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience working as a project or program manager for a technology company where the solution requires the delivery of professional services.
Candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of technology and be comfortable in defining both business and technical delivery plans. Candidates must be able to understand, plan and manage all aspects of work needed to successfully adopt a solution, place into production and operationally transfer to the client.
Preference given to candidates with experience working with solutions involving software configuration and customization using customer provided hardware platforms, especially with hosting, cloud services or ERP type solutions.
Preference will be given to candidates with delivery experience spanning enterprise accounts to smaller mid-market accounts. Candidates must be able to be able to differentiate and adjust delivery approach approaches based on type of accounts.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in working all aspects of professional services delivery including:
-Sales team engagement â€" pre and post-sale
-Project definition â€" pre and post-sale
-Project initiation - internal and external
-Project execution and closeout â€" internal and external
Essential Job Functions
- Define and negotiate appropriate scope
oDetermine scope needed to deliver solution
oReconcile and negotiate scope with sales, customer
- Successfully initiate projects internally and externally
- ID and secure required resources internal, customer
- Develop and communicate project plan
- Lead kickoff and launch the project
- Manage a portfolio of ongoing delivery projects
- Monitor a portfolio of delivery engagegments
- Plan and manage ongoing work
- Provide status to customers, stakeholders
- Manage and negotiate ongoing delivery issues
- Maintain Project Administration functions
- Ensure PSA system, project artifacts current
- Support audit, revenue recognition requirements
- Contribute to Project Management and Delivery body of knowledge
- Build or contribute to tools, techniques and methodology

Requirements
-At least 5 years' experience at a technology vendor delivering post sales professional services
-Understand end to end process used by companies to acquire, implement, deploy strategic software technology solutions
-Formal Project Management training [Certificate in Project Management] or PMI or similar certification
-Readiness to travel up to 25 %
-Fluency in the English language
